New Zealand Made

The Woo Lace is made completely in New Zealand, our wool comes from the South Wairarapa, then is scoured in Napier and turned into yarn in the Lower Hutt. Next it travels up to Tauranga to be knitted into shoelaces. Finally it is dyed and tipped with aglet in West Auckland then shipped out to you!​

 

Strong Wool

80% of New Zealand sheep are strong wool. Strong wool is the ​coarser wool fibres and are heavily under-utilised to the point where farmers aren't making money from it. We want to change the perception of strong wool and bring it to the front of the streetwear industry.

 

Natural Dyes

Synthetic dyes can be harmful to the environment and your health. The Woo Lace is naturally dyed with materials such as avocado pits and onion skins. This also provides uniqueness to every lace batch as eco dye is unique every time.

 

Lace Performance 

at the Woo Lace does not come untied due to the fibres of the wool coming together , creating s better performing lace for everyday use.
